Emily Griffin

Emily Griffin instructs the following:
  • Introduction to Ayurveda (Workshop)
  • Find your balance, create more rhythm and enhance your overall health through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. Reminding us to live in line with the seasons and our own unique body, Ayurveda encourages healthy foods and lifestyle practices like yoga and meditation. It encourages simplicity.

By viewing nutrition, lifestyle choices & your current state of balance through the lens of Ayurveda, you can work to correct common imbalances such as: insomnia, digestive issues, weight & stress management, imbalanced energy, complexion issues, colds/ cough/ congestion & so many more. Once you understand how your body works and why your imbalances appear, it is so much easier to get back to your individual balance.

Join Emily in this workshop to understand the basics of Ayurveda and cover topics such as:
    • The Ayurvedic approach to nutrition
    • The doshas, or your mind-body type
    • Daily & seasonal practices
    • Learn what tilts you out of balance
    • Find simple methods to create more balance on a daily basis
    • Yoga recommendations from a dosha & seasonal perspective
    • Ayurvedic recipes & tips on how to feel great this season

Bio: For Emily Griffin, living well is all about flow. In college, major digestive disorders sapped Emily’s energy, disrupted her once clear skin, and stole precious time from her busy schedule. Frustrated, she began researching homeopathic and Ayurvedic modalities, and began practicing yoga regularly. Combined with yoga and holistic healing, her health returned, and she found she was feeling better than ever.
These days, through her yoga classes and as an Ayurvedic practitioner, Emily helps clients throughout New England strike the balance between living well, but not becoming obsessed by the latest wellness trends. There is a give and take—a flow—to living healthy, and she’s a firm believer that, when paired with a mindful approach to food and movement, laughing with friends and the occasional indulgence go a long way to living well.
Emily is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, 500hr certified yoga teacher & Ayurvedic yoga specialist. She is a lululemon athletica ambassador and a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Emily is based in Boston.
