MYoga Flow Yoga covers a wide variety of yoga styles. Including; Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Bikram and Baptiste. It is a vigorous practice that strengthens the core muscles in the body, enhances flexibility, while encouraging deep concentration and focus. All Flow Yoga is practiced in a heated room. The heat encourages perspiration, which helps to detoxify and cleanse the body. The muscles respond to the heat by relaxing and allowing us to move deeper into a posture. There is an assumption that you have practiced before, so there is less attention to alignment ques. This moves at a faster pace to elevate the heart rate and elevate the cardiovascular system as well as develop strength and flexibility. This practice will tone and sculpt your body and heal your soul. Be prepared to sweat, and discover your inner strength!  (Hot Heat)
An entry level class geared toward beginner’s -still a flow class, but more demonstration if needed. emphasis on alignment, breath and the foundational tools of a yoga practice. There is no heat added to these classes and students are encouraged to rest more.

MYoga Slow Flow incorporates the same principles as MYoga Flow, with less postures than a regular Flow Yoga class — more emphasis on alignment, breath and the foundational tools of a yoga practice. We recommend 3 -6 classes before attending a regular Flow Yoga class. (Mild Heat)
This invigorating and mindful series that Shawn developed incorporates strengthening postures as well as emphasizing stillness and focus. Postures are held longer than our flow classes. The practice allows for students to work with their breath while developing strength and flexibility. Be prepared to transform your practice. Open to all levels. It will challenge the experienced student, but moves slow enough for a newer student.  (Hot Heat)

Shakti is described as the “divine force, manifesting to destroy demonic forces and restore balance. This Vinyasa class is taught by senior teachers and will step outside our standard Vinyasa format. Each class has a different theme or focus and no two classes are exactly identical requiring students to cultivate an even greater sense of “present moment” attention and focus. There is an assumption you have practiced before and class will move at a quicker pace than slow flow. Be prepared to sweat and feel empowered.  (Mild Heat)
This class was designed by Cote and Zef as a way to open the body before a long climb or release it afterward. It’s fantastic for athletes who are looking already working out every day and are looking for a less vigorous style of yoga that will keep their bodies flexible and the range of motion needed to excel at their sport. All levels - not heated. (No Heat)
Metrowest yoga will be offering a workshop series dedicated to deepening your understanding of specific poses. This comprehensive series will allow our skilled Teachers to go beyond the scope of a regular class in order to help make sense of difficult to grasp poses. For example, inversions can be challenging, and yes a little scary but we will give you the tools you need to find new strength and perspective in achieving these often challenging poses. Each week one of our Teachers will lead a class geared towards a different pose, tailoring a sequence specifically focused on the pose at hand. Understanding the principles of the poses and how they relate to each other can help clear some of the mystery behind the practice. Strengthen your practice by expanding your knowledge.

Yin yoga is a style of Hatha yoga where postures low to the mat (no standing postures) are held for up to 5 minutes each. These longer holds target the joints, ligaments, fascia, and other connective tissues of the body, referred to as Yin tissues. You can expect a lot of slow stretching in the deep connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, legs, and feet as well as some upper body work to open heart, arms and shoulders. Using Meridian Theory, classes may be themed to focus on the health and balance of certain vital organ tissues and the energetic states associated with those organs. Yin is slower paced and heavy on the meditative side. We will use props to help make the longer holds sustainable, but you may find the real work is sitting in stillness with sensation. We turn inward to tune out daily distractions, slow down the breath and listen to the body. This class is open to all levels of students. (No Heat)

If you've been curious about some of the practices of yoga beyond Asana, this class is for you! This class is based on the teachings of Mark Whitwell, (student of Krishamacharya and T.K.V. Deiskachar) and J. Brown (Gentle is the New Advanced). An all-levels class.
