Assistant Training with Ray Mucci ERYT 200

Oct. 4th & 5th 2014
Saturday 9:00am - 7:00pm; Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm
Worcester Studio

This 2-day workshop will provide a foundation to safely provide hands-on adjustments in yoga classes.

Receiving physical touch can be a wonderful part of practicing yoga, as long as it is done safely and mindfully.  This workshop will work with therapeutic touch as a means to provide support to students practicing yoga from the most basic touch to complex adjustments.  This workshop is appropriate for someone with no experience with teaching or assisting, and can also be a learning tool for established teachers.  There will be some discussion, but most of the workshop will be spent practicing these tools and techniques so you will have the opportunity to solidly cement these skills.

Once you finish the training, you are eligible to begin assisting classes at Metrowest Yoga, which is a great way to earn free classes and deepen your connection to others in the Metrowest Yoga community.

This workshop is also good for 17 hours of continuing ed credits for yoga teachers.
