A strong core enhances a strong pose. The core is not just about the abdominal muscles it is full body connection.

In Yoga we refer to the core as a connected whole body strength. In this class we will explore how moving from our core can enhance our yoga practice and any competitive sport, as well as help prevent injury and help with back pain. Some Pilates principles will be introduced to help deepen our connection and understanding.

The intention of this workshop is to get the student more in touch with their inner strength in order to have a stronger more pliable outer body.

Come with an open mind and playful heart.  This workshop is open to all levels.

Bio: Anne Toupouzis E RYT 200, Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor

Anne has been practicing and studying yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2007.  In 2000 she started her journey to become a Pilates Instructor and in 2004 became a fully certified STOTT Pilates Instructor.  Integrating both yoga and Pilates Anne believes helps students to develop a better sense of body awareness.
