Peaceful-Abiding Meditation for the New Year

Mindfulness Meditation is the practice of peaceful-abiding. It is a practice that helps us cultivate strength, clarity, and peace of mind regardless of what circumstances life may be throwing our way. Rather than be tossed around by the inevitable ups and downs of life, we can learn how to show up fully for our lives with patience, appreciation, and even a sense of humor! True peace is the absence of struggling with ourselves and with our experience. Mindfulness Meditation helps us untangle ourselves from the habit of struggle and helps us learn how to be fully present for our lives.

This beginner-friendly series will be a thorough introduction to Mindfulness Meditation. It will help you learn how to establish a basic daily practice of your own (with plenty of support from your instructors), help you understand how to apply mindfulness to your daily life, and help you feel more centered, open, and clear which contributes to a healthy sense of well-being.
The course will be led by two senior certified Metrowest Yoga teachers, Rebecca and Molly, who will provide meditation instructions, guide you through each practice, provide ongoing support, with plenty of time for Q & A and open discussion.

Molly McCarthy:
Molly supports her students and clients in developing the confidence and courage to embrace who they truly are. She brings extensive education, training, along with her own experience to help others on their journey toward accepting and expressing themselves fully.
She developed a passion for meditation as a teenager and completed her training under David Nichtern, Senior Teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist Lineage, in 2017 to become a Certified Meditation Teacher.
Molly believes that when we meditate we get to know ourselves, our patterns, and our beliefs. Only when we know our patterns do we get the opportunity to respond differently if we choose to.
Molly completed a rigorous four-year program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing to become certified as a Brennan Healing Science Practitioner. BBSH is a professional college dedicated to the study of the human energy field, psychology, spirituality, anatomy, and physiology.
She is an Integrative Coach certified through the International Association for Counselors and Therapists and weaves these tools into her healing work.
Molly believes in teaching by being as real and authentic as possible in each moment. She recognizes how vital humor has been in her own journey and loves to laugh with her students and clients. She owns a healing practice and teaches workshops throughout Metrowest Massachusetts.
