Favorite inspirational quote: “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world. Speak or act with a pure mind, and happiness will follow you as your shadow, unshakeable.” – Buddha

When/where/with who was your first yoga class? In high school, with a big yoga book in my living room

What / who inspires you? I am totally inspired by people with no ego or defenses.

What I love most about yoga is: Its ability to melt away the built-up tension in our body-mind; to bring about joy!

What you can’t live without? Yoga and raw food

What you might not know about me: I’m a black belt in Shotokan karate

Best advice you’ve ever received (from who?): Meditate!

My favorite book: The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

Favorite Word: Sahasrara (crown chakra)

Local escape: Metrowest yoga, raw food restaurants, and beaches

My favorite thing to do (other than yoga): Relax on the beach with friends and family – let’s go!
