The benefits of the practice are what keeps me coming back. It provides me with mental clarity and the pranayama (breath work) is a tool I carry in my day to day life. Controlled breathing is a great way to calm your mind and your body. It has helped me through difficult times. My practice has also helped alleviate significant back pain and is a driving force in what keeps me coming back. Practicing yoga contributes to me continuing to grow in my teaching as well. I learn a lot about my life through my experiences on my mat. I am forever grateful.
